Used Aguilar GS112. Otherwise, given bigger budget, my standard recommendation.
It should be well known by now. The thing is, how can this guy still be in business ?
Not everyone does their research, especially when they see a lowball price.
EDEN ex112 are great values, small portable, light and perfect for portable or small gigs, when I need more sound I bring 2. and they sound great
Find a used one. I picked up a 2x12 Dr Bass cab on cl a few years back and its a killer cabinet.
This. I bought a 2460 used and removed the logo. Him being a bad human being doesn't make his cabs bad cabs. I wouldn't even consider sending him any of my money but used is guilt-free IMO.
Used GK Neo 112
"You have chosen......wisely!"
NEVER EVER BUY FROM DR BASS> Also, if you have a DR. BASS cab, NEVER play it in public with the brand badges on them. Dont ever advertise for that guy.
I was wondering about those.
I have had a Dr. Bass 1x15” and a 2x12” cab for over 10 years. I would snatch up a match for either if I saw one for sale. I feel for everyone who got ripped off and I hate to see the guy is still in business after ripping so many people off, but that doesn’t make me hate my cabs or anything.
I don't have experience with them but if you search around the Forum, they've gotten some love here.
I can honestly not say enough good things about them. small light, plenty of great sound and I use two with a 550 watt amp and have plenty of headroom found used for under 200$ a piece, i think i paid 140 a piece for them. def check em out!
I think reverb.com is the last place I'd look for good deal. Things there tend to be more expensive that ebay or guitarcenter.com used prices.
I have a couple dr bass cabs a 115 and a 210. If someone gave me $325 a piece they'd be gone.
At your price point you are probably going to do better locally. Shipping is going to eat into your budget significantly. Looks like you are in NYC? Should be a ton of Craigslist stuff to be had, if you are patient.
Lol it's the Dr Bass hate bandwagon.
99% of everything on Reverb is top tier priced, or ridiculously overpriced. I hardly browse it anymore, because of this.
Hartke Hydrive 112 is a decent cab in your price range. The 4/8 ohm switch is a nice bonus. I have 2.
