i downloaded the dragonetti concert in A from virtualsheetmusic.com but the notes are different from recordings i have heard. The first notes i have are G C D are those correct. Does any one have this concerto published by stuart sankey international music co.

In the Key of 'G' it starts with G-B-D....in thumb pos/G-string. In 'A' it would be a whole step higher. If you are not performing it with a Piano that has the part in A-maj, you don't have to tune up to A (concert). In that Case, just play it in G with standard tuning.

Kurt Muroki is one of the top young Classical Bassists out there today and a TB member..... Try asking him as well..... I'm sure he knows it in his sleep......
