Drift Away by Dobie Gray?

    Has anyone here seen any tabs online for Drift Away? I just remembered the song today, and I said to myself, "Hmmm, it's a famous song, I'm sure the good-ole reliable Internet will have some tabs for it!" Well, I was wrong. I searched for a while, and could only find some guitar tabs. So, HAS anyone seen it anywhere?

    The track is or sale here, but you've gotta buy 3 and it doesn't say if it's the original, an interpretation, or what. And you'd have to learn it by ear, not tab.

    Yea I have the album actually, but can't find any sheet or tabs for this particular song for bass. I've been putting it to ear a bit but I was hoping for a quicker solution

    One more try: Colony Music 1619 Broadway @49th St NYC has an incredible amount of sheet. A quick search of their site turned up one book listing bass tab for Drift Away. Same book is offered other places too, even used on Amazon. Details are vague, but MAYBE it has what you need.

    If you e-mail me the tab format for PC, I'll tab it out for you. I play Drift Away every show.

    EDIT: I've tabbed out a verse and a chorus, PM me and I'll send it to you (or anybody). Maybe you could let me know if I'm notating it correctly.

    EDIT Redux: I just went ahead and tabbed out the whole thing (kind of)...
