I do not have the money to purchase a drum machine right now but would like to have something to play along with. Is there such thing as cds with drum tracks and other types of rythm that one can purchase? I know these frequently come with intructional books, but are there any decent cds of various types of music one can buy?

Buy a program called fruity loops. About 50 bucks for the main program without all the extra frils and synthesizers. You can make your own drum tracks. Organise them any way you want. Make it loop 10 times and then switch rythyms into something else for 5 loops. whatever.
