Drummer rant

    I am so, angry.

    OK. this morning, i phone George to see if he's coming down today, we had a marathon rehersal organised for today.

    "hey man, whats up?"
    "haigie, man, i cant go today"
    "great.. whats up this time?"
    "my aunt died man, im sorry"
    "oh, ****, sucks. you ok.. blah blah blah"
    "yea yea. my mum is cracking up blah blah blah, we're going to her house tonight to stay with my uncle blah blah blah so i cant make the studio"
    "thats ok, family comes first"

    ---

    Talking to his sister just now on MSN.
    "hey, you ok?"
    "why wouldnt i be?"
    "heard about your aunt"
    "huh?"
    "george said your aunt died...??"
    "[snip] nope, no aunts died that i know of"

    the rat arsed bastard :mad:

    I AM going to pull this up, and likely try and find a new drummer. I am sick and tired of wasting my time, urgh!!

    Stephen and I are now stuck with the studio bill tonight, we have to cover his share.

    any advice on what i can say to him? im gunna wait till ive cooled down, but man.

    I been everywhere, man...
    None. At all.
    A sucessful band needs members who are dependable and respect the fact there are other people involved besides themselves. Lose this guy and move on.

    tell him you would rather have meg white in the band than him....

    well on second though...look at it this way...at least your drummer isn't meg white...

    sounds like you have a not so serious drummer in your band.

    =/

    Get a better one, thats all, yeah its hard to find great drummers, but they are out there.

    Ask him when the funeral is! Tell him that as you and Stephen are his band mates you feel that it is only right that you come and pay your respects to his deceased family member. It shows respect for him and his family - then see what the sucker says!;)

    Yeah...try to catch him in his own life,if his sister didn't say anything...

    I'd be very mad too,I mean...he lied to his fellow bandmate...

    but seriously, i agree, ask about the funeral and say you want to come, if he doesnt spill the beans then, confront him and tell him you know he lied...




    then again the kick would be much funnier and fufilling :p

    Haha! Nice one Johnny. I don't think that would work, though, he's one of those people that can weasel out easy.
