    So far, in my new band, every single song that we've written is filled to the brim with effects.
    We've yet to write a song with clean bass tone. I figured I've dropped so much cash on my pedal board that I'm going to put it to full use.

    In this song, you'll hear the BSW octave/envelope filter for one part. Then the Devi Ever Bit / Octamizer for the other part.

    I'm the exact same way in one of my bands. Not only do I not have a single second in any of our songs where I'm playing without any effects, I can't even imagine it. It would actually sound pretty stupid; it just wouldn't work with our sound.

    That's some funky tones, dude. I bet those GK cabs are a joy to lug in there, huh? I had a 2x10 and 1x15 stack of goldlines and they were a beast lol. Funky stuff, I like it :)

    Actually those are The Hartke Hydrive cabs. I've grown to absolutely love them. That 15 cab is so light, I can actually carry my bass case in one hand and that thing by the handle in my other hand.

    I'm a little bummed it's not a Wildhearts cover, based on the song title, but you've got some good tones there.:)

    I've got very little in the way of "clean" tone in my band as well. I was recording one of the last sections for our upcoming album and my sonic goal for the part was to sound like a "space orchestra."

    I really would like to hear everyone else's pedal boards in action. We see so many awesome pedal boards in the PYPB threads, now I want to HEAR them.

    Here is one more song/video where I'm using my Dr. Scientist Frazz Dazzler + Octamizer for the verse. Then the chorus switches over to the BSW.

    I love my Octamizer along with any gated fuzz. It sounds so thick and heavy.
