Hey guys, I'm looking for a delay pedal with dual heads, so I can play, and then have 2 delays, one very short and quick, and the other one longer (like 4ms, 400ms)

so far the only one I know about is the Boss DD-20, but i'm wondering if there is anything else.

I'll see your 2 heads, and raise ya 2 more.

You might want to check out the Akai Headrush.

I've not used one myself, but it seems interesting.

  3. with such a short first delay you could just get away with two delays in series.

The headrush will do this kind of thing with some judicious tweaking, but it's not exactly what you're after.

The dano PBJ has two different delay times, and sounds great for very little $.

Doesn't the Ibanez DE7 have different delay times? Maybe get it modded so it could be controlled from a foot switch.... I bet Colin @ experimentalists anonymous could do that for you...

You might just be better off getting two delay pedals.... You can never have too much delay.

  5. Maybe a ToadWorks Redux Asynchronous Delay is something for you.....

thanks for the heads up guys...

So far the only other unit than the Boss DD-20 is the Akai Headrush's that ahve 4 heads which i'm pretty sure i won't need but they're in the same price range anyway, but i like the boss's functionality a bit more.

the dano PBJ does not have dual heads, and neither does the Ibanez.

The Redux does ahve a 2nd delay but it's limited to only be within 100ms of the primary delay.

thanks guys, i think i'll just look into getting a dd-20

Ah, I misunderstood. I thought you just wanted two different delay times....

Definitely pickup the DD-20. I prefer the sound of the echopark (i've got both), but the DD-20 will do what you want, and more.
