Does anybody have a jazz bass with dual MM pups on it?
    How does it sound?
    How does it look?

Good point as far as the sound. ;)
I guess I wanna see the jazz bass shape with the dual MM's.

try looking into sandberg basses, they have jazzes with the mm option but I am not sure if they have the dual MM option.

Does something like the Roscoe Beck count?

  9. Both of those pups are to close to the bridge IMO. I'd rather have them shifted about an inch and a half towards the traditional MM double humbucker locations. Regardless, it's pretty sweet looking!

I really like the look of the RB, but the Sandberg is not my cup of tea. I prefer the look of an L2000 G&L if you are positioning the pickups like that. I can't exactly put my finger on it, but there just seems too much empty space in the upper horn's quadrant for me.

Something like this, maybe? It's not mine, but I came across the picture some time ago and it caught my eye.
