I'm lookin for a combo. I dont want a cabinet and head. Somethin with over 100 watts, 2 speakers. Under 700. Any suggestions.

  2. Those Nemesis 2x10 combos seem to be really good, and I'm pretty sure that they are under $700.

I'm thinking of getting the Ampeg B100R though...

you can go to peavey.com and check out the BAM 210. these things sound as good as an eden metro, and can be had for around 800 bucks. a little out of range, but i think the stretch would be worth it.

Call Gard at Bass Central about the Nemesis 2 10" combo.

He hooked me up with one a year ago, and Im sure he can help you out too.

I even got the number for you to call.

Bam's are 1300 dollars. If theyre used, they'll be 800. They sound great. 500 watts ut of 2x10 or 12. I am not too sure about peavey though. I gotta talk to my friend. His Bro works in the business

  8. I'll second the Nemesis 2x10. The BAM 210 is a hell of a combo, but I'd be surprised if you find one for $800.

Yes, Bam's are a bit out of your range. But they are one hell of an amp. I wish I could justify spending the dollars to get one, but I have too many other items on my wish list right now.

Why aren't you too sure about Peavey??

I hate to say it, especially under these circumstances, but I've seen used Super Redheads in the $800 range.

    Munji, you will like this.

The last green tag days at GC, they had a new Red Head 2x10 marked down to $569. I should have jumped on it since I'm sure I could have sold it at a profit. But I've got all my bucks going to build up a PA (read $$$$).

I'm not a big SWR fan but the Red Heads are a hot little number.

    That's exactly what I mean.
