  2. Didn't this happen a couple of years ago & turn out to be BS? Or maybe I hit my head on my monitor & I'm imagining all this...

    That is ridiculous...awesome.
  4. Well that was a really poorly written article. Cool if it is true.

You can submit "news" stories to that site.

It's false, that could never happen.

All keyboard players start this way.
  8. Hahahaha!
  9. That makes no sense at all but if it's true that's awesome.

I don't really see how he could not only be given the knowledge to play like that, which is purely mental, but the physical abilities such as finger muscles, muscle memory, flexibility, etc. He said he played for 7 hours. How can you get that strength from just hitting your head?

I don't really know what to think.

Look at 5 year olds who are piano prodigy's. They technically don't have all the flexibility or strength yet that an adult might but they can still do it. A lot of is mental and the ability for your brain to tell your muscles how to react.

"Can I play the piano any more?"

    "Of course you can!"

    "Well I couldn't before!"

I smell a hoax. Good way for a piano player to get noticed.

Hmmm. I can see a hole in his story. If he never touched a piano before the accident how does he know that couldn't play it before? It might not have been the accident!

I'd like to speak to his family to clear things up. On the videos, he does seem to often stay on a C major, but he probably at least played before.

I just don't want him to start the "You see, theory is like a house..." thing
  15. There was a simular story of a guy who was taking chinese lessons or something, and his classmates said he was very mediocre at best as it was a beginner class. He ended up hitting his head and ONLY speaking fluently in the language for a 3-4 days, but then he woke up the fifth day and didn't remember.

Seems like not even knowing names of notes would seriously limit his ability to play with other people.
  18. LMAO!!!!
