    2010 Duesenberg D-Bass, Sonoma Red----$2,100 Shipped CONUS...Original HSC

FOR TRADE, I AM LOOKING FOR A VINTAGE MUSTANG OF EQUAL OR GREATER VALUE WITH CAASH COMING YOUR WAY.

I acquired this beautiful looker here on TB not too long ago. This is a beautifully crafted bass with a fresh take on a P bass. Controls are interesting, as there is a secondary tone knob which has the bass take on P tones at one end of the range, and Jazz tones on the other, all from one pickup. Since I only use my basses in my studio, I decided that part of the allure of this bass is its aesthetic, and it belongs on a stage. So, I'm going to let it go, and chalk it up to me being able to play one of the more interesting a beautiful boutique re-imaginings of a classic P. If you're a car guy, you need to be a Duesenberg guy. Plays with little effort, and buzz-free. Wearing roundwounds. Beautiful original case. 8. Crazy cool...have a pickup like that in a Cabronita and never dreamed of 2 being used in a P type application. Mind blown. @2saddleslab check the pickups out.

I saw those but the pole piece spacing show that this is for a post 57 P bass style application [staggered layout] vs using 2 existing TV Jones of Fender FideliTron pickups to attempt to configure the same setup. Cool looking nonetheless.

Good question, and it's a common subject of controversy. From what I can gather, they may have the wood components created in Korea, and then the basses put together in Germany. I've read Korea, Germany, and hybrid. LOL.
