Duesenberg Star Bass in mint green. A rare bass from 2000. Pro setup with Chromes and it plays beautifully. Balances very well with no neck dive. This bass is a short scale bass (30"). I hate to post this bass but I need to pay off my "new" 1963 P Bass. Frets are in great shape, neck is very nice and straight, headstock is perfect, tuners are great, everything works as should. Has a couple of scratches and nicks in the back of the bass. This bass was made in West Germany and is a true Duesenberg. No korean made here. Comes with official Duesenberg case that is near perfect. $1600 shipped in the USA. Want to know what it sounds like...check out the following video of me playing the Duesenberg with a church youth choir. I use a pick in the first song, some finger style throughout, and the bass is pretty prominent on the last song, Feliz Navidad. Tone is Duesenberg into A Designs REDDI into Yamaha pro digital board. Here is the video:
I'm definitely interested but in the same boat as most others. Don't have the scratch quite yet. Maybe in a couple months. I do have some gear that could be traded with the cash added for difference. 1987 Jazz Special Fretless Unlined, Phil Jones Bass Cub (Red), some EHX effects like filter workstation, EMG Geezer P pickup unopened, a piezo blend, misc higher quality bass parts, etc. Just throwing it out there, you definitely said no trades but maybe cash + trade is acceptable? It would still be out a bit for me but that could make a deal happen sooner.
