I believe that most Fender J's have Single Coil p/u's. The "Noiseless" p/u's in American Deluxes & FMT & other assorted models are huncancelling & the p/u's in the MIM J DLX are humcancelling, also.

To the best of my knowledge the only Jazz basses that dont have stacked humbuckers is the standard series and american series (passive model)

Except for the MIM Standard, all Fender single-coil J-basses use RW/RP (Reverse Wound-Reverse Polarity) pups. These cancel hum in each other when used as a pair.
