So i had a set of Dunlop Super Bright Stainless Steels on my one bass and i really liked them so decided to try the Nickels to see how they sound and to not wear my frets as much. So i am tuning up tonight and the A strings end ball at the bridge just snapped off from the normal tension. ARRRGGHH! I've been playing bass for 35 years and never had a string do that. Has anyone else experienced this with these strings. Really bummed and i guess i will call Dunlop and see if i can get any help regarding this. Not expensive strings but it just sucks and shouldn't happen.
