    Anybody tried this stuff??

A Dunlop rep gave me a small bottle at NAMM last week in Nashville, and before I slather some of it on a set of strings, I'm just curious to find out if anyone else has given it a try.

http://www.jimdunlop.com/care/care.html is their site, but it doesn't say much. The bottle says "The number one way to restore brilliance to your strings and extend string life. This special formula conditions your strings with a silky smooth playing surface while shielding against tarnish and corrosion."

    Bob -

Haven't tried it but was looking at what might be a similar product. Do you know if it's a polymer that molecularly bonds to the string, like Stringlife www.stringlife.com?

Stringlife says you use it as part of your daily maintenance which, I assume, includes wiping your strings down after each playing.

If it works well for you, please give us a heads-up.
