Dunlop Uni-Vibe any good for Bass?

    A friend of mine gave me a Dunlop Uni-Vibe that someone gave him because it didn't work.I'm thinking that mabye they didn't have the right power supply(it takes an 18V).Has anyone here used one of these on bass before?

    Vibe and Trem sound good with a touch of reverb/delay. I use it for old school tunes.

    Have you tried this particular unit before? I guess it's worth buying the power supply to see if it works.If it doesn't mabye i'll sell it as is..............

    IIRC my MM4 models it. Now, I don't know if that would be a fair assessment of what the real unit sounds like but I like how it sounds on my MM4.
