One of my favourites is Dust from ZZ Top.
He's playing very well, and he's a great showman.
He is in hospital now, but I hope, he will recover soon.
    I'm awaiting for comments!

Wow...I'm sorry to hear that Dusty is in the hospital. I'll have to check on how he is doing.
Dusty is one of the reasons I play bass. The sound from his bass at a ZZ Top concert nearly knocked me over.:) I'm always reminded of that...when someone mentions the "power"
    of the bass.
  3. What happened to him? BTW matching fuzzy guitar and bass duos rule!

According to the official ZZ Top homepage (www.zztop.com)
Dusty has got Hepatitis C, but he's absolutely alright.
You can write him a letter at the homepage too, CROZ.

Dusty is also one of the reasons I play also. My band covers a bunch of Top tunes and I get to sing a few. Dusty's a very underated player with tons of soul & groove I hope he gets back behined that Tele bass soon.

Dusty is SOLID! I used to think he played too simply, trying to learn some of his lines changed my mind. Not that he's that difficult, but he does some off tempo things (which is where I personally struggle), especially if you do the vocals.
