    Wow...that is a fat tone..I love it...
    Looks like a *MTD*(corrected)through Eden gear....rounds? technique has everything to do with this I am sure..looks like he is playing on the neck pickup...can anyone tell if this is a "scooped tone"?

    can anyone recommend other samples of Dyson's fingerfunk? I am blown away..

    I am pretty sure that is a MTD 535. Great tone for sure.

    During that period David was playing MTD's. He didn't start playing Skjold basses until the mid 2000's.

    That's an MTD - Dyson didn't start playing Skjolds until a few years later. Sounds great though!
