Can anyone tell me what would be better in terms of transparency, and shear clean sound: EA's iamp, or a Demeter VTB 201/ Stewart 1.2 Rig? I have heard a lot of praise for the iamp in terms of transparency, but of Course the Demeter is also hard to beat from what I hear. Any comments are extremely appreciated.

I can't comment on the EA, but I can highly recommend the Demeter for "transparency, and shear clean sound". Warm, clean, noiseless, simple, built like a tank.
