Hey any ideas where I can get a EADGC combination of flatwound strings, or would I just have to buy a 6 string set?...I know I shouldn't sneak this in here but any reccomendations for jazz pickups with this type of string setup as well?

Whatever pickups you have will work fine. As far as flatwound 5 string sets with a high c? I'm not too sure.
  3. There is a similar thread that i just replied to about this same sorta thing. The two most common routes are buying a 4 string set and buying a single high-C, or buying a 6-string set and then ditching the low-B. Many TI dealers stock singles, so you could buy a set of JF344's and then the single C from the JF346 set.

That's how I tune my two main basses and that is pretty much the two ways I have put together appropriate sets.
