Ear pieces

Discussion in 'Miscellaneous [BG]' started by Rick Martin, Dec 13, 2001.

  1. When I see bands on TV, some of the players have ear pieces on. What are they listening to?

  2. Themselves...those egomaniacal jerks. ;)

  3. If it's the singer, is the ear piece giving them the output from their own mike? Is it like when you see singers put their finger in their ear?

  4. I'm pretty sure those ear pieces are just monitors. So, I suppose if the singer or bassplayer wanted to hear just themselves, then that's what they'd do. or something.... it's getting late.... comprehension pills wearing off....

Yeah, my band uses those in-ear monitors sometimes, they are cool, but they have poor bass response, so I use the floor wedges and side fills, I prefer to "feel" the music as well as hear it....
