Turn of the century anonymous flatback bass, but in great shape and with a killing jazz sound. Since owning this bass I've put on a new high grade ebony board, new bridge, Gotz endpin, high quality (era-specific) wooden shaft/brass tuners, and had all seams/cracks gone over and repaired. There are NO cracks in the back. String length is 41.5". Email me if you want other measurements. Strings are new Obligatos or if you want Kolstein pizzicatos (gut-wrapped) on the D and G you can have those. Bass is in Boston--I may be able to ship it; prefer to sell locally. Asking $5900; have appraisal for $7000.
