I would much appreciate it if all questions and inquiries about this bass were sent via private messages only, thank you.

Early 60s American Standard for sale in NYC, as pictured below. Excellent condition. Made in the US, serial number #2968. For more information and history on the American Standard, visit http://www.hnwhite.com/string page.htm

Recently set up by the David Gage shop in Manhattan. New hand-carved bridge, and thick new ebony fingerboard. Upgraded endpin. Thomastik Spirocore strings. Very loud sound, perfect for acoustic gigs with no amplification.

High resolution pictures of this bass are available on request. Additional pictures can be viewed at: http://newyork.craigslist.org/mnh/msg/3311415546.html

Selling for $2999 firm (reduced from my initial selling price of $3600), cash only. Located in midtown Manhattan, New York City, steps away from Times Square. A local buyer is highly preferred, but will consider shipping this bass, if you provide me with a trunk to ship the bass with, or if you manage to arrange a shipment through David Gage’s shop, or any other shipping business in New York City.

I’m not looking for trades at this time.
