Easy solution for a floppy B string that works 100% of the time!

    If you've played 5 string basses, you've noticed that different basses behave very differently in regards to the B string. Sometimes it will sound sharp and sustain with a lot of higher harmonics, sometimes it will be as dead as batman's parents.

    But fear not, for I have found a solution!

    Just tune your bass EADGC. Since I've started doing this, I have not had problems with a dull B string! Of course, get a 5 string set suitable for this tuning!

    I have a history of making bad jokes but this just might do it.
