I know Jack Bruce used a Gibson EB during his Cream days, but I've also heard a lot of complaints about this bass. I love the sg body style for a bass, and was wondering if anyone has a non gibson one they like or have seen? I know Warmoth offers the body style and I've been considering getting it but I'd like to know if anyone else knows of any other options. Thanks.

((Note: check out the awesome paint job on this Bruce Bass, Check out here ))

My friend has a 5 string epiphone, and I am not to impressed.

There are lots of knobs, but not a lot of tone, plus the neck seems really slow to me.

  3. I played a 5 string SG and it would've only been good if I set it on fire. It was very disapointing.
