    I bought this bass and paid good money to customize it with the intention to keep it, but I have decided to sell it before sending it to paint. This bass was almost 11lbs when I bought it, I had the bass chambered for weight relief and also had a forearm contour and modern back contour added. The bass now weighs in at about 8.6lbs now, plays wonderfully, and has that great 2EQ Stingray sound. I'm selling because during the process of the mods I moved on to other things. Upside of the need for a paint job is the new owner can pick the color. Comes with OHSC. Please message me with any questions.

    naturally subjective answer but can't help asking ... how did the tone evolve through the weight relief process?
