i know its already on this thread but i didnt see a real answer, just people putting up pics of their tbirds and eb3s, and complementing eachothers. anyway, so epiphone eb3 or thunderbird, i play hard rock/metal/rock :bassist: i think their both gorgeos, iv played both, i just cant decide, :bawl:

  2. i personally like the T-bird better.... specailly for rock....

Both are nice but I went with the T-bird. An EB3 could easily be in my future though.

  4. I've played both, and the EB3 with the set neck and trapazoid pearl markers is 1000 times better than the Thunderbird, just my 2 cents though...

  5. i'd say the EB-3 is much lighter, and is probably just a bit more versitle, just cause it has more tone options.but i like my thunderbird much more than the EB-3 i tried out.it wasn't a bad bass though

  6. (1) Epi Tbird & (1) Epi EB3 = around $600...both together are less than either Gibson model...

...(stop stressing about which one to get & grab 'em both;))

Tbird. The EB's are short scale. That's just not right.

  8. yeah,but i'm pretty sure that's the just gibson EB's.
the epi is a long scale to my knowledge

The EB3 is full scale. Otherwise I would concur with you my good man.:)

  10. Epiphone EB-3s are longscale... you're thinking of the EB-0.

Yep, another random internet opinion with no reason, no explanation, no proof...

maybe it's reverse psychology... keep down demand, keep down prices...

Come on, at least hint at why... :D
