7 bids in 30 minutes since I posted it. Nice. Can't tell if it's a TB'er, of course, but it sure seems funny.

Wow, I wasn't even aware that Ampeg made stompboxes since the Scrambler.

From the tone of the auction, it probably was made before the Scrambler was discontinued.

I could see somebody buying it for the collectability, but 300 ms is a bit short for dub bass IMO.

:smug: I was interested when the price was $5 U.S., now it's substantially higher.

Any delays you'd recommend for dub bass that have above the 300ms?

The Ibanez AD-9 is 300ms too, right?

Most of the Boss-sized analog delay pedals are 300ms or less. To get more, you can go with the Maxon AD900, or a rack unit like the Ibanez AD202, or a tape-loop delay like the Roland Space Echo, or one of the many digital units that model the analog muddy sound. My favorite is the AD202, except it takes up two rack spaces. If the Maxon pedal had modulation knobs, I'd marry it.
