Info about the seller says :
    "Not a registered user"

I believe this means he has already been thrown out of eBay, no ?

    Cheers,
    JL

  5. Well I have done my daily good deed. I contacted the seller via a filthy e-mail and told the current high bidder it was scam and gave a link to this thread.

How come it says that this eBayer is from London on one page? and then:

    No longer a registered user
    Member since: Nov-07-04
    Location: Canada

    on another page.

That high bidder is most likely a scam (the one with 0 feedback.) His/Her account was created today. Sounds like a shill bid.

the next thing you know the guy will tell you he represents royality from Nigeria and will want your bank account numbers

  11. Hahaha!

Steve, email him asking if you could go take a look. It'd be interesting to see what he says. Chances are he'll outright refuse.

I think this guy has done this before... I seem to remeber another high end boutique bass auction that used the same scam a few months back... And it said the same thing... London UK, but the acanada bit...

Its the proof of the scam... he is regesterd under ebay.ca, but his said "location" is elsewhere. He is most likely not even from Canada, its probobly some yanl who found a loop hole...

ive never heard of "crotch" (insert wood here). thats what he says teh wood is. hmm....

  19. No, that part is at least legit, that is crotch walnut. Comes from the crotch where two large branches grow.

  20. Crotch Walnut is a very real (and gorgeous) form of Walnut.

Check out a great descriptive page on Ken Smith's site HERE for a good description with pics.
