    Is it even a Fender?

    The headstock is blank, and those tuners look fishy....

    Now where did I put that $1000 I had set aside to burn....

    He's not actually claiming it's a Fender...it's a "Fender Jazz-Style." He's also got a "Les Paul-Style" for sale for the same price. I dunno, beats me...:confused:

    Lets see. Where to begin. Headstock is similiar to a fender shape but not close enough. Must be the first bass Fender ever made that doesn't have a maple neck. Pickguard has been spray painted probably with the thumbrest on. Just a few of the first things I noticed. :meh:

    Nino, saying optimistic is kinda downplaying this guy a bit don't ya think?:D

    Looks homemade. Check the location of the string tree. The g string would only pass under it on the one side and it would bend the string toward the tuner!!! :p
