  2. Because Photobucket has chosen to in effect "take down" everyone's photos (unless you pay them), we have extended post edit time in the Luthier's Corner to UNLIMITED.  If you used photobucket and happen to still have your images of builds, you can go back and fix as many of your posts as far back as you wish.

    FWIW:

another ebay watch for some US Dearmond Starfire HB"s new. Narrow EBO spacing. Guild Starefire copy bass but choice pups cheap (I picked up a pair for $50 and they got bid up - almost got 'em for $26). For hollow semi-hollow but I stuck them in a solidbody and some warm, fairly clear, punchy tone - not EBO dark dirty mud. Check harmonycentral reviews for raves on the pups from newbees to guys playing 30 years.

So if any of you guys are putting somethng like this together, worth picking up - so to speak.

Should add, some cool retro/art deco (depending on whether you're makeing basses or furniture) looking gold covered pups. Sort of 50"s custom shops. Have ZZ TOP '57 Chevy Tailfin Bass written all over them. TailFin Hollow body anybody?
