eBay Scam on '78 Fender Jazz

    That is why you must be careful on the 'bay. I never buy from sellers with 0 feedback anyway. I emailed a seller just a few days ago to let him know someone "borrowed" his pics. This also happened while the real auction was taking place. It happens way too much... :meh:

    Same here, I do alot of business on eBay and I'd never buy from a 0 feedback.

    When someone wins one of my items with a Zero feedback, I get ready for trouble too... it rarely is a smoothe transaction.

  5. This happens alot. The seller of the legit item can advise e-bay of the fraud. Usually, such auctions are anonymous auctions (keeping the bidding private), but in this case the seller was not clever enough to do even that and it looks like people are bidding on it. The bidder therefore can be notified. I usually also stray away from zero feedback auctions - but sometimes a deal can be had in such auctions because people shy away from them. In such cases, payment can be made through an escrow service.
