Check out this ebay item. and response to my question about pictures.

Good luck selling it with attitude like that. I'll go ahead onto Talkbass.com and inform them of the possible ebay/scam.

  2. Doesn't seem to be a scam--a little snippy, maybe. Maybe he was having a bad day.

no i assure you, it is not a scam, i was snippy b/c mr anderson didnt read the portion of the auction that said, PICTURES WILL BE UP BY TONIGHT, sorry but i get a little annoyed when people dont read before asking, as do others on this forum. I'll make sure to put pictures up when they become available, and about me being a punk? that seems a little childish mr. anderson.

    Mr. Luminol,
I do apologize for jumping the gun on you and calling your ebay auction a scam. If you would have answered my sincere question (I like the EDC 715 very much) with courtesy...I of course never would have started the thread. I thought I did read the whole post. Obviously I didn't and that is my fault. At the same time your response was snippy and I snip back. I would expect the same thing from someone else if I answered a sincere question about an EBAY product from some interested party.

All of my auctions include the phrase, "Shipping charges will be provided to the winning bidder only," yet people e-mail me regularly to ask what the shipping charges will be. "Oh, hold on while I pack this item up, drive to the post office, stand in line for twenty minutes, get a shipping quote, drive back to my house and e-mail you with the charges, so you can tell me, 'Thanks, but no thanks.'"

So, now you're asking yourself, "Hategear, how do you handle those types of situations?" Well, I either don't reply to their inquiries at all, or I reply with, "Shipping charges will be provided to the winning bidder only. Thanks for your understanding."
