I just received a "second chance offer" for an auction that hasn't even ended yet.... sweeeet.
Did it arrive in your email? Or is it active on your "My Ebay" page? If it is not on "My Ebay", and if it arrived as an email, then it is a fraud. This is an increasingly common fraud, which has nothing to do with the actual seller of the item, he or she will know nothing about it. Do not enter your user name, password, or any paypal info into any Ebay page linked in that email, as it is a phony Ebay page.
+1 ... and could you ditch the "sweeet?"
Good call. I have received both, and the fraud one looks very convincing.
I knew it was a fraud and didn't enter anything.... just shocked and amazed.
and yeah, sorry about the "sweeeet". Too much South Park. I'm slowly becoming Cartman....
just email, and very convincing... most of the links are actually to the auction on Ebay (and not the normal scam/mirror site).
Where the hell do these bastards get your email from?
