All original 30th Anniversary Stingray up for sale! Just over 780 of these legendary basses made, featuring a mahogany string-thru body, which is not typical for the classic Stingray (usually made of ash or poplar). The maple neck features beautiful birdseye figuring, trans crimson finish, and a rosewood board. These features give these 30th anniversary models a unique tone in comparison to other Stingrays. When they released these in 2006, Sterling Ball called it the best sounding Stingray they ever made.

Comes with limited edition hard case with 30th anniversary plate. Currently strung with EB Super Slinky strings.

    Lacquered maple neck
    Active Electronics
    Burgundy-red color
    Neck Mount: Bolt-on
    Amount of frets: 21
    Scale: 34”
    Tuners: Music Man
    Bridge: Music Man 4-Saddle Bridge
    Body: Mahogany
    Neck: Maple
    Fretboard: Rosewood

There are only two very small visible blemishes. One is a ding in the finish located on the bottom side of the instrument, below the horn and toward the back. The other is a small ding on the side of the rosewood fretboard near the third fret. Neither are visible from the front of the instrument nor do they affect playability. Both are shown in the photos.

These great instruments don't come up for sale often, and I honestly never expected to sell mine!

Looking for $1700 plus actual shipping cost to the continental US. Local pickup in the NJ area preferred. Paypal or Venmo accepted. Please message with any questions. Not looking for trades at this time. Thanks!

I had one, they are awesome. Sold mine earlier this year and it was gone in a few hours. Shouldn’t last long.

Superb Stingray. I have one, and it's the only one I've kept around after having Classics, Old Smoothie, SBEB, and a Sabre Bass. As far as MM are concerned, a real peach!

Wow. I owned one of these once. Really great stingray. This one is much nicer than the one I had. The wood grains on this one are beautiful.
These are amazing stingrays. The only model made with a Mahogany body I do believe. Best sounding ray ever made I'm my opinion.
If you are a Ray guy, you should really give this one a go. You won't be disappointed.
I wish I could buy it.....
