How is the action?...have you ever need to adjust the action?...is 2010 when you purchased from Beaver?
I was not the original purchaser. But the bass was purchased from BC in 2010. The bill of sale is in the case. I had the bass set up when I first got it (about 4 years ago), but have not had to adjust the action since. It's set up with a nice, moderate action - approximately according to factory specs.
I'm guessing that these were quite expensive to manufacture, especially if you compare them to the new, passive models.
