    EBMM Bongo 5 HS for sale .

    - Maple neck / rosewood fingerboard

    - Basswood body

    - HS pickup configuration

    - 4 band EQ boost/cut / 18V preamp

    - 9.5lbs on bathroom scale

    - EBMM/SKB hardshell case


    2 dings on the headstock, one near the bridge, and a few minor scratches that’s hard to capture by camera.

    Beside the few flaws, this bass is in excellent condition and fairly clean. Back of the neck had turn glossy, which is normal for most bongos because it was matte when new. I’m not sure what’s the exact name of this finish, it’s a deep metallic blue/green, think mystic dream without the red/purple .


    This is the modern tone monster from EBMM, the 18v preamp w/ 4 band eq offer more options than what most people need. S pickup on the neck sounded more open and somehow closer to a pass sound, less aggressive than the H pickup on the neck. A very fun one.

    $950 is a totally legit price. Hope this sells soon. Part of me wants a stable of Bongos (4,5,6) but I really can't atm. My Warmoth build has to be finished first.
