EBMM short scale bass

Been a short scale player for a while and am considering a EBMM short scale bass. Anyone who has one I’d be interested in your input as to the pros and cons. Only American Earnie Ball Basses don’t want to know about Sterling versions. Am interested in the tone you get from the pickup which was made for the short scale model and how the controls change that sound and any other input you would care to offer
