Up for sale is my tried and true Ernie Ball Musicman Sterling bass.

She has served me well and is a total 'Players' bass. There are several nicks in the body which are pictured, but none in the neck which is as smooth as butter.

the spot near the control cavity looks to be where the bass may have been dropped. I bought it from Guitar Center as such and have no idea how the damage was inflicted, but I did fill the chip with epoxy so it didn't grow.

    I'd call the bass aesthetically a 7 of 10 and electronically a 10 of 10

I just finished recording with this bass in the studio this past weekend and the tone was giant. The engineer asked what all I had it running through, but I was plugged straight in :)

    $700 with CASE!

    nowwwww PICS!!

    Bigger pics bump!

  3. Does that price include a hard case?

It looks like it from the picture, but does this have the waxed/oiled neck? I was in GC the other day trying some EBMM StingRays, but I think all of them (certainly all that I tried) had shiny finished necks and fretboards rather than the waxed/oiled feel that their one used Sterling had.

    Thanks!

I think only the 'Classic' EBMM Rays and Sterlings have the lacquer, the rest use their wonderful oil and wax.

  5. Thanks!

The neck is just an oil finish, but it's incredibly smooth lol I guess the reflection made it look like lacquer.

And the bass will be sold without a case,

Idk lol I'd have to Google it, it feels like a jazz neck and is thinner than a P or a Ray neck
