EBS cabinets

    hi guys i'm in the market for new cabs. my setup is:
    fender precision
    rickenbacker 4001

    SWR sm 400s


    i was looking to EBS 4x10 and 1x15 or 1x18 cabinets. can you help me more with your experience?

    i'd like to know the price in euro and how this cab sound compared to swr, ampeg, laney or warwick the only cabs i have had the chance to try

    I can't answer any questions re: price, and haven't played many of those cabs. But, I can tell you that it's got a very high sensitivity rating, and at 4 ohms, it's the loudest cab I've played through, to date.

    It's also very responsive and seems to sound exactly the way I want my bass to sound. I play an active US Spector and a passive MIM Jazz with DiMarzio Ultra Jazz p/u's in it and both basses sound the way I want them to sound through my rig.

    I will say this, however: While not a problem for me, it has raised an eyebrow or two before...The cabinet's frequency range only goes as low as 70 hz. To me, my 4-strings rumble even on the lowest "E". To you, if need be, there are full range cabinets in the EBS line if you want. I personally don't think it is an issue. You might, however.
