EBS Octabass

Discussion in 'Effects [BG]' started by TheGeneral, Dec 21, 2002.

  1. I bought an EBS OctaBass recently and just wanted to relate my impressions. The thing wasn't cheap (cost me $135) but it is well made and made for bass. The pedal is very quiet and musical. As with other octave pedals, it works best for notes at C on the A string or above. Notes below that sometimes flip back and forth because the low octave is just too low. I mainly use it for high notes on my 6 string and turn the octave signal on about 10%.
Bottom line: well built, sounds great. A very nice feature is that it will work on phantom power if you don't have batteries.
