ebs210 or SWR golliath II

Discussion in 'Amps and Cabs [BG]' started by jadviga, Jun 29, 2005.

  1. I ended up choosing between ebs210 or SWR golliath II (both second hand for approx. same price). I'm wondering which one has better low end response (i play 5 string warwick jazzman). I'm planning to use it for small gigs and I would like to use it a single cab.

    I hope I don't expect to much from a 210 cab...

Thanks for the commens in advance,
  2. Goliath II all the way! :bassist: It's a warm and a good sounding cab. Even better sounding than a Goliath III if you ask me.
  3. To my ears the ebs cabs are very tight and punchy in the bottom end, but not that full. I think the swr is pretty flat response, so it'll probably do whatever you Eq.
