I'm interested in the Peavey, as long as the shipping isn't over $30 to be shipped to Detroit.

What's your zip code? I'll try to estimate shipping.

Also interested in the Peavey...how close is Fremont to Akron/Cuyahoga Falls (44221) Ohio?

I might be able to come pick it up

edit: its not the combo is it? and whats the ohmage?

I live right off the Turnpike, so I'd say about 1 hour, 40 minutes. If you wanted to swing out sometime, you could give them all a listen (plus check out my "EA Museum" and Accugroove and Epifani cabs, if you so desire!). Actually, if shipping is not involved, I also have a Peavey 1820 cab that I have reloaded with a 1,000w Madison 18" and two 10" Seleniums that really sounds good (but is too huge to ship). PM me if you ever want to come out. And of course, you'd be welcome even if you weren't buying.

Oh yeah, it's just the cab, not the combo. I will have to check the ohmage, although I think that it is 8 ohm (it's been a while). I used to use it in conjunction with the 1820. I had a grill made for the 1820 to match the metal one on the 210TX. They look really good stacked (gives you four 10's and an 18).

It looks like Fremont is only a couple hours away from me so if shipping is too much it might make for a fun road trip for my girl and I. Like Sunday morning, if you'll be home.

I have two guys in front of you on the Peavey, but if they don't pan out, I will let you know.

Peavey is now available again, BUT, the reason is that after jamming through it "one last time", I noticed a faint, but audible distortion. It doesn't quite sound like a speaker is blown, but one might be on the way out. With this in mind, I will either sell it for $75 as is (plus shipping), or I will load it with a pair of brand new Madison 10's (which believe it or not, sound very good in Peavey enclosures) for the original asking price of $125. The Madison speakers were $60 new, on special, for the pair.

FWIW, the cab does play as it is, and the distortion is not noticeable from more than 2-3 feet away, but I can hear it, and something is not quite right.

    Tom.

A bit off topic...but Tom, a mutual friend of ours just picked up an EA 210. I'm betting you had something to do with that!
    Man that thing sounds good.
