Anybody out there who played both? How would you describe the sound of each? It seems I'm gonna borrow an Eden WT800 head for the summer to gig with. I already have an Eden 210XST cab and I'd like to get something under it. Right now I have these two options. I like the typical Eden sound, not too aggressive, while clearly audible and gives a solid foundation. I haven't tried a GK 410RBH cab yet, but as far as my experience with GK goes, they prefer the more aggressive sound. Thanks! Booch
The GK is built to be more Hi-Fi, and for rock I would definately choose the Eden 410. Its got tone to spare. And it will love the 800. I also find the Eden a bit more efficent than the GK.
I play a lot of styles so it's not necessarily rock. "Efficient" as loud? (I'm not an English native so sorry if I'm asking the obvious) Do you think the GK provides a weaker performance?
What I mean by efficent is that the Eden uses the watts you feed it better. It will get louder than the GK with just as many watts.
I'd stick with the Eden D-410XLT. It'll really explode your tone along with that 210XST. I use a 410XLT under a 210XLT outdoors, and it fairly rules.
