    MJ5150 Terrific Twister

Will it hurt my Eden 410XLT to disconnect the tweeter altogether?

I need to replace the X13 crossover module, it is defective. When I called Eden, Dave made reference to the bypass choke, or something like that being bad. He said it is there to bleed off the higher frequencies that the tweeter can not handle. The new part will cost me $40 to replace, but I won't have it for a couple weeks.

Any potential damage to the cab having that little tweeter disconnected?

Thank you to those that help me out here.

  2. Don't think so .. in fact my manual says you can run it "off" by taking out the "fuse", the light bulb protection circuit.
