I have myself an Ampeg 8x10 coupled with an svt-4 pro. All in all not bad. Plenty of power but it seems kind of muddy to me. Thinking of switching to Eden to get a smoother crisper sound. At least that's what I hear about Eden... Opinions?

i play through an eden d410xlt+d115xlt+eden navigator and i dig the sound...it goes from fat to crispy with the single twist of a knob :D i don't think it sounds anything like an ampeg, though you can dial in some sounds close to that 'svt' sound...with my eden rig, it's very easy to dial in a clear punchy tone that is definitely not muddy, but i normally just leave all the controls set flat, and eq the mids to the room...great sounding rig...just heavy...but then again, you know all about heavy
