Eden D4-10 XLT

Discussion in 'Amps and Cabs [BG]' started by Tom Neves, Oct 27, 2004.

  1. Gentleman,
I am looking at getting one of these and would like some feedback on the tone and sound of this cab.
The one i'm looking at is used. I'm not sure if it is 4 or 8 ohm.
    Eden says 700 watts.
I will run it either thru a GK 400RB or a Walter Woods Ultra High Power.
    I currently use a Bag End S15D and D10X-D.
I really liked the punch and warmness coming from the Eden.
Any of you have one of these? Feel free to give me the pros and cons.

I love mine, very deep yet punchy at the same time. I'm pairing mine with a 210 xlt. I'm using a Crown macrotech 2400 as a power amp and the edens just love it.
  3. buzzbass,
I hear Eden makes their own speakers in house.
    Is this correct?
Has this always been the case?

It comes in either 4 or 8 ohms. It is LOUD as hell.

eden has made their own speakers in house for quite some time but that wasn't always the case. However, i belive that by the time they started making the original goliath 1 for swr they were making their own drivers - (1987).

    Are you nuts!!!!!!!!!????????????

If you wern't so far away i'd have to talk to you about those bag ends :p
