Has any of You tried an Eden Nemesis Amp?
I'm looking for a new set-up but the cash aren't big.
I've been offered a Nemesis Bundle With an NA320 Amp along with NSP 410 and NSP 115 to a very reasonable price.
When i tried it, it sounded great for the purpose that im going to use it, but some people have told me that I should stay away from the Nemesis line.
PLEASE let me know if you have any experience with such a set-up.
    Cheers!!!

I would say go for it, if you like it, and if you can get a reasonable price for it. I have the Nemesis 4x10" combo with a 4x10" extenstion.... and it is REALLY LOUD. I also have a 100watt carvin tubed head, and used to have a SWR workingman's 4004 head, and the Nemesis blows both of them out of the water.

The Eden Nemesis line is great. It's reliable, great sounding, lightweight and priced well. I did five years of hard gigging with one and it never let me down.

I tried one out in the music store last year and thought it sounded good in addition to being very light and compact.

The Nemesis line seems to offer the classic Eden sound with a few less features, and at a great price!

i've got an eden cab (410), i quite like it.
of course, i'm still pretty new to bass gear.

what DON'T people like about the eden stuff? because i'd seriously consider getting a head for this cab when i upgrade.

I have a 2-10 combo and a 4-10 cab. I love the sound of the amp and it can get pretty loud, however, I don't feel like it projects as well as I would like. When I use the extra cab, I power it with a RMX 1450. I find it gives the 4-10 a bit more kick.

As far as reliability goes, I haven't had any problems.

If you guys at Eden are paying attention, how about making a Nemy Pre amp? I'd buy one in a heartbeat.

  9. I had one for one gig. Took it back the next day. A good amp, but WAY too modern for what I was looking for.

  10. i have an older 1x12 combo with a 1x15 extension cabinet, and it's really nice. the amp works exactly like the nicer eden heads with a little less power, but it sounds great and is really versatile. i double on acoustic upright and fretless 6, and i can get nice trad jazz tones or more hi-fi modern tones too. and the 1x12 is really nice with low B strings. i tried the 2x10 first, but thought the twelve killed it. very full and punchy with nice low end, especially with the 1x15 which is just HUGE. and all the drivers are still made by eden in the same factory. not cheap stuff at all. and the cabs are really light too. i normally just take the 1x12 on the jazz gigs with the upright, and bring the 15 to the big rock gigs. i've A/B'd the rig against an ampeg B2R with a 4x10 and 1x15 at our practice space many times, and the nemesis sounds better everytime.
