Eden related question

Discussion in 'Amps and Cabs [BG]' started by Flea Claydirnt, Apr 27, 2001.

  1. Does anyone have or have tried an Eden Nemisis NC-200 combo amp. I haven't heard about the Nemisis line as a whole, what do you people think of them.
  2. I've tried the NC-210P and I liked it very much. It's loud for a 2x10 and has a very smooth basic tone, which is nice because the onboard EQ is rather limited (three-band rotary with sweepable midrange).

I played through one not too long ago (we were warming up for a band so I used their amp). I play through a WT800 and 410XLT (which is my point of reference). The Nemisis sounded basically the same as my big boy, but was maxed on master volume and clipping on preamp volume. So my conclusion was...not a bad sounding amp, but not loud enough. I'm playing aggressive country. If it was a typical rock situation, the Nem would not be able to keep up.
