I'm guessing this will be a great pair. I have a wt400 enroute and I am considering buying another 1212r. Should I get a 4 ohm or 8 ohm? I would like the added flexibility of being able to add another cab, probably an epi 112, but usually I just want a one cab solution . Thus a 4 ohm would be better. My band doesnt play that loud, moderate volume roots rock/rockabilly, but 235w at 8ohms doesnt seem like that much power. Who runs the eden + schroe combination?
If you are using it alone most of the time, grab a 4 ohm version. Can the WT400 handle a two ohm load? If it can, 2 4 ohm cabs will work just fine in your situation.
Too bad. I was going to suggest the WT550: http://www.eden-electronics.com/products/amps/indiv/wt550.aspx Mainly because it could do more at 4 ohms and could do great at 2 ohms. Might want to get the 8 ohm model if you are planning on getting another speaker.
I had the WT-600/610L combo, worked great. The only real issue was that the head was quite noisy, and the 610L is a revealing cab.
